His last three (played) games have been pretty good (though the Auburn game only saw 203 total yards of offense out of him). He had 260 total offense against Arkansas, for some reason didn't play last week, then had the 312 yards of total offense yesterday. If you look back over his stats over the years, last year was his first big one, but they didn't give him a chance to even do anything until the Arkansas game this year. It might be a different season if we'd taken the ball out of Sneads hands earlier and let McCluster do his thing... We've got a good defense (Alabama, who I think is grossly overrated after seeing some of the near losses lately, had five 2nd and goals from the 2 and had to settle for five fieldgoals-they can' seem to score touchdowns against the SEC very much this year as you also saw in the Tn game). However, the defense didn't show up against Auburn (they got burned on the same play time after time after time after time after time...). The offense rarely shows up against anyone, so we rely on the defense to stop the hemmorhaging of points, so the offense can have their 2-3 minutes of almost decent play during the game to keep the games close. I don't consider big wins over the likes of Tiger High, SE La, and North Arizona to be a sign of anything other than that they were just bad teams...
