Calling the divers

Hey guys almost diving season again. This is the year i finish up my gear. Im getting a regulator, computer and guage. For my Reg im thinking of going with a sealed primary and a Atomic Z3. Any one out their own one? Pros and cons?

These are the ones i might go with.

soo baller!! I've been debating on getting my own set. but iono if it's worth it going a few times a year.

I do have a set of dry suit, which is super awesome in Cali water

I'm a scubapro fan for my reg and 1st stage. And I have the Suunto Cobra and really like it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the stuff you listed. SoCal water is cold but not extreme.

I also like to go scubapro; atomic regs are great but less serviceable world-wide. Can't really go wrong with atomic either though. I have a g260 tac/MK25Evo, and love them. Why DIN? We exclusively use yoke in my lab, and they don't even let us get DIN--much much harder to find DIN cylinders, especially in the US, and why bother with the adaptor. Genuinely curious. Also, I like to have a wrist-mount compass (super cheap ones on leisurepro), I hate having to drag my gauge package to get it into a level/compass-readable position. Definitely solid choices all together, though!

I used in mouth regs for years almost every brand, sherwood, atomics, scuba pro etc.., 2 years ago bought an Ocean Reef Neptune full face and i wont go back..visibility is better and just overall comfort, the stock regulator is perfect atleast for my taste

Sorry the link was for DIN but i plan on going Yoke. My BCD is a scubapro night hawk 2 thought of going with Scubapro Reg also but read somewhere their main guy left and went with Atomic. Sp has sooo many choices for equipment i was taken back.

I would like to see a link for the full face mask if you dont mind. How to do equalize with those?

If you have depth in your computer do you really need a gauge too? I have a sunto d4i that I've used with no problems. Then just a pressure gauge and compass. Keep it simple. I upgraded to braided hose. I got a din tank super cheap. So din regulator plus adaptor. No big deal.

My dad has no complaints about that regulator. He likes to swivel and that it's made of titanium. But I guess all long as it balanced is all that matters?

I would never dive without an SPG and depth gauge separate from my computer.

Heres the link:

As to equalizing, you can take a full face mask course with PADI or other agency, which your supposed to, but if not its pretty simple just do 3 or 4 hours of practice time with it + youtube video and youl be set to go. The mask has 2 silicone domes near the nose, its as simple as pushing them close to your nose and swallowing once or twice then you should be able to equalize as you go without needing to do so. Also what i love about the mask is absolutely no jaw fatigue!! I can dive a few hours on nitrox and come out feeling like a champ lol
