Calm ?????

We have had this in our tank for 2 years.

Can I get an idea what this is.

The arms sticking out around it, the little thready things with the bristles, are micro brittle stars- which is what the other poster was referring to. The shelled thing among the arms is definitely some sort of clam or mussel, though I'm not certain what kind.
The yellow-tendriled thing behind it in the first pic is a spaghetti worm. They hide in little holes and extend a bunch of long tendrils to grab at food. Entirely harmless, as all they can manage to eat is detritus.
 
Looks like a mussel. I have had one in my tank for 6 years and that's exactly what it looks like. Pretty much indestructible.
