You could probably get away with a tridacna clam it you mounted it high on the reef close to the lights.

maybe a derasa or a squamosa...but they aren't rock dwelling clams...idk if pc's are goin to have enough penetrating power in a tank that tall.

I am saying no. But has it been done? Yes. Is it healthy for the clam? No.

+2 I'd also say no, but I have a friend that has a maxima and a crocea in his tank with pc's. They are both in the upper region of his tank. I will also say that his tank seems to ignore all rules meaning it grows sps well with good colors and everything. I still would not recommend it, though, he one of the lucky ones.
