I was just reading a thread the other day on this subject . Just not sure were so I am asking this ? Isn't there a rabbit fish that eats grape calupa ?
I think you'll find that there are many fish that will eat caluerpa but from what I read a steady diet of it is not beneficial. Caluerpa contains a toxin that can be harmful to fish if they eat too much of it.
Yes I have heard that somewhere too . I am not doing feed it to him. I have some growing in my tank and sense I am lowering my system to zero phosphates and running a low nutreint system the calupa in the tanks is dying and I am worried the toxins as it dies off may hurt the tank as a hole . So my solution was to purchase a Rabbit Fish that is know to eat it .
I had a foxface that would gobble that stuff up in no time. He was a pig, hence why he was traded off. He was fed it once a week and did fine until he moved in with a buddy of mine.
