Yesterday i came home and found my camel cowfish stuck to the side of my mp-40. After shutting it off he swam off. When i fed him this morning he ate and seamed fine. I just got home to find that he was missing. I found him stuck behind my live rocks. I thought he was dead, but he just was not moving, as soon as i moved the rocks he swam, but all kinds of weird. Now he is sitting at the bottom of the tank, fins are moving but he wont swim. If he tries to swim he just goes belly up. Please help!!, Im going to do a water change i think, its been about a week since my last. Im going to test the water first so if anyone thinks this is a bad idea please let me know asap!!! Thank you in advance for any help. :sad2:

Hard to telll

How long have you had the fish?
How are your water parameters?

Anything change in the tank recently?
Any other fish in the tank? How are they?
Any recent additions to the tank?

I have had this fish for almost 3 1/2 years. I got it when it was about 3/4 of an inch.
I tested my water last night and everything was on target.
Nothing has changed in the tank at all. The only thing i noticed was my coraline algea growing faster.
Ive got a bunch of other fish in the tank, pigmy angle, yellow tang, scooter blenny, lawnmower blenny, two clown fish, 4 chromas, and a manderin. They all look fine, not a sign of stress of any apearence issuses.
I have not added anything new to the tank in months.

With that being said, i belive it to be swim bladder disease. He was sitting at the bottom motion-less (just his gils were moving) When he did swim it was all lops sided and upside down. I issolated him, did a water change, and hoped for the best. This morning i woke up and it was too late. My Avatar, my fav fish, was gone. Laying there motionless, there was nothing i could do to help him now. But thanks anyway for trying to help.
