Canon rebel xt

Limited budget. Looks like lens be more than camera lol....

I am trying to wrangle a bargain on a pentax kr or canon g12 but not looking in my price range...so probably go with one of the cheaper ones above

Since you are looking at used DSLR's to get down to a price point, why not do the same with the point and shoot. Look into a G9 or G10.

I am NEW to photo and have a few pos cameras around i was looking to take next step up.

I have done some research and see where i will need a 100mm or 90 mm lens..

Any one in tampa area with recomendation for local photo store let me know.

One of the guys i know takes his pictures with nikon d70 i will check lens monday

All the photo locals i have seen use avast marine cover and dip it in water of the tank while

phtographing.

That camera doesn't shoot in RAW. You will want that ability when shooting tanks.
