Camera suggestions?

I am looking to buy a camera and was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions on a reasonable camera and lense that is user friendly. Thanks in advance for your assistence.

Also, what will you be photographing mostly?

Looking at spending around six hundred. I take alot of different pictures. Bikes, animals and now my aquarium.

For $600 I don't know what kind of DSLR you can get............there are few if any (I have not seen any) that are good quality SLR and seperate lens combos for less than $900-$1000......

I'm pretty sure you can get Canon XT or XTi, or D40's for $600.

Lenses will be extra.

D50 kit is probably around 600.
I got my camera body for around 450.
