Cameras for Apex

I would like to put a wireless camera on my tank so I can view while traveling. I have an Apex gold monitoring the system. Anything special required for a wireless camera to work with the Apex?

I got the Amcrest pro HD, took me hours with customer support and they couldn't figure out how to view it on apex as they claimed they won't support 3rd party apps. Finally a fellow reefer on here gave the info. If you decide to get this cam let me know and I will forward the info. Now I can see live video of the tank on my apex app

Just get a Foscam. Mine was like $75, it connects to your home wifi in minutes. Download the app for your smartphone and watch you fish from anywhere.

Thank you for the help. I keep hearing that the Apex route is tough. I'll do the FOSCAM, or maybe something that bypasses the Apex!
