hello, i have a kodak cd33 easy share 3.1 mp. iworked great for a 1st time user. but it does'nt focus or zoom well. could you suggest a good camera so i can show off my tanks?

Yea, I would like to get my hands on a Canon 5D only if my wallet was thick enough. Oh well, I've a way to go getting there.
 
His budget will directly affect the type of camera that I would recommend! There is a huge difference between my $200 point and shoot and my $5000 DSLR!
 
what are some good point and shoots that have good macro settings on them. I saw a panisonic today that did some nice none fish pictures. i also need a new one and until i finsh school a slr is out for me
 
I am getting my Canon S3 IS on the 24th. From what I hear its near the best if not the best in its 400 price range.

I agree. Cleaning the sensor must suck. :)

I hope you don't actually clean your sensor, it's not for the squeamish, and is best done by a professional under ideal conditions. Even simply using compressed air isn't entirely a good idea, you'll often make more of a mess than you'll fix. Just my $0.02
