Camouflage Urchin?

My Royal Urchin picks up small pieces of rock chips and carries them with it!

Last night, he picked up a small piece of rock that has 2 soft corals attached, and is taking them around also!

Is this common? Or do I have a 'Rambo' Urchin?

yes this is common. i have the same urchin as you and mine does the same thing. generally speaking the more crap he/she has on top the healthier they are.

LOL, mine used to snatch hermit crabs up by there shells and u would see the urchin come by and this poor hermit crab just kinda stuck there hanging out.
