The family and i are camping there next week. I 'm looking for family friendly activities in the area. So far i have silver lake drive in and letchworth. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Silver Lake is a Must, don't get there to late.. We go about every 2-3 weeks. We get there about 4-5pm and make a night of it. My friend won the mocoraina a few weeks back. Food is not $$ I would recommend the BQ. They have bounce houses for a small extra fee. Bring blankets and chairs sit on the lawn, not your car. They allow behaved dogs as well.
Letch is good, do a little research on fossils so ya know what to look for and Geo Cashing is a good time killer. most phones have built in GPS.
If you can make the Avon Flea market on Sunday the kids would love it.

Thanks ! Think i'm there weds- sunday? Kids are 13,13, 11, 5. Looking forward to getting away.
