Can 1 "softy" (Klyxum) stay w/ my SPS's?

Eric Borneman identified my one and only soft coral as a Klyxum (colt). I realize that it has been only recently described as a separate species, however, I have been told that it is one of the most "benign" of the group of colts. I also know his "standing" about "separation" from soft & hard corals. However, I am wanting to add some acros in my 55 gallon tank. Does the beautiful Klyxum have to go? I currently have monti's doing fine. Thanks!

I'd keep it. I have a huge sinulara spaghetti leather and a nepthea with no problems. If your worried, just run a little extra carbon and don't skip any water changes

I have leathers, sinularia, kenya trees and many other soft corals with SPS and LPS in my 55G. I have never noticed any negative effects, but I wouldn't let the softies and SPS touch.

yea your fine, I have a decent size leather in with my sps and no problems. Like someone mentioned earlier, no touchy lol. Its always good to mix things up for some diversity thou in my opinion.
