Can 2 Diff Clown Species Pair up?

Curious if a Cinnamon and a Tomato would pair up, or fight??? One smaller one bigger??

Same species, different color. They can definitely pair up, but tomato's are trickier than a lot of clowns. Definitely start with a larger and smaller clown. I usually use an acclimation box to make sure the female isn't going to kill the juvenile before placing him in my tank.

I have a pair (cinnamon female and tomato male) in my nem tank (they use a Caribbean Condy as a host). I started them out with both being very small juveniles 16 monthes ago. There are something like 25-30 different types of clowns and they breakdown into 5 families (I think). Anybody in the same family can cross breed. Look into a book called CLOWNFISHES by Joyce Wilkerson. It's very informative.

Any clownfish can be paired with another clownfish,as long as they are not both females.
