Can my apex which comes with a eb8 run a dc8?
Also If so, can I set an 8 outlet power strip to 4 of the eb8s. Where each strip has my led cords to? That way since I have so mant led cords, I can plug all blue cords to one power strip, which then goes to only 1 eb8 outlet for control, then do the same thing for whites on another strip and eb8 outlet.
Thanks

Yes, you can connect the DC8 to the Control port of your Apex.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "Also If so, can I set an 8 outlet power strip to 4 of the eb8s."

I think you're asking if you can plug a power strip into one of the outlets on the EB8 so you can plug multiple things into one EB8 outlet. If so, that's not a problem as long as you don't exceed the max current limits for the EB8 and the outlet.

+1.

The Apex base unit has an RJ11 connection for legacy devices like the DC8 & DC4 power bars as well as other old Neptune devices. You make the connection using the proper cable, go do modules and select Add Module. Then select DC8 from the pull down.

Awesome, thanks guys

And yes, I want to plug another strip into a eb8 outlet so that single outlet can control other devices(my blue leds)
So yes it does work as long as not above the outlet rating. Thank you again
