Can a Scoly have more than one head

Ive seen Scolly type corals recently which have 2 or 3 heads..are these true scollys or seperate subspecies

Good question, I have something that appears to be of these species but is definitely trying to grow a new head, will post when the lights come on...

Yes. Multi-head Scolymia arent real common in the hobby, but they do occur. The primary polyp buds off new ones.

sure.. I have seen a bunch in the orange or green color. even a couple Bi-color...

I've seen them. I think Julian Sprung's Coral Reference book has a pic of one.

To me, it read like it was for sale....................misunderstanding this time apparently.

I've seen numerous posts similar to this where people dredge up old threads to rip people off & garner interest in selling something.

Actually Big E is almost certainly correct. Members who register, dig up an ancient thread to share a picture with a price tag are almost without fail looking for sales .
