Hey I have searched for answers to this question and have gotten mixed responses. So I am sorry if this thread exists already I have not found it.

Main question is I really like birds nest and currently have them spread apart in my tank. I was wondering if they can be placed in close proximity of each other? I think it would look nice to have all the different colors near each other. I also have a some monties and acros in would also like to know where those stand. I have a 120 and lots frags starting to get big and would like to make most of the realastate

Thanks

I think it would be best to keep them seperated. Although I have had many coexist they may grow at different rates and one will out grow the other and dominate it anyway...

Thanks for the reply. I figured it would be best. I have seen monti caps. Grow intertwined so I was wondering other coral would do.

I have a green bird and bird of paradise basically intertwined with eachother. The green is winning in growth though.

Yeah you just never know when corals will fight … it seems hit and miss.

Hammers, Torches and Frogspawns are one where everyone says they can rub and touch … and on one side of my tank, they do with no problems at all. On the other side of the tank, I have a hammer and a torch that fight non-stop whenever polyps make contact with each other.
