can anthias be kept singly?

i am wondering if a lyretail or dispar anthias can be kept by itself in a 180g? or should i get 2-3 females to go with a male?

I only have one anthias, a male squammi, in my 90 without any females and it has kept it's coloration.

Best rec is 1 male w/ a little harem, 3 or more, looks like you have room for em.
However, I did this and the females never ate.
I'm left w/ the one male who seems OK, he hangs w/ my green chromis
