Can anybody ID this anemone?

I bought this from a guy closing down his aquarium and he didn't know what it is either.

If it's a Pseudocorynactis, be forewarned that they're very predatory. There's one at my LFS that has to be kept in its own species tank, because it consumes everything--including other corals!--kept it.

This guy is in an anemone tank now, but was in a very mixed reef and a smaller tank. There were other corals near by and several small fish. I have a small shrimp and a local (SW Florida) blennie in the tank and have had no issues.

Jennifer, I don't know what to tell you? I see the photo and so have a couple of other people. But thanks for trying and letting me know you thought there might be a problem.

I'll try getting a couple of new photos at new angles and post them. Maybe that will help.

I would guess Condylactis species, possibly gigantea. Do you know if it originated from the Atlantic/Caribbean or Indo-pacific?
