can anybody please help me identify my new anemone?

Hi, its not something i was paying attention to. Todays the 3rd day of having it in my tank and like i said it did go behind its rock where i couldnt really see it, it wasnt in the darkness tho it was just on the back where i think it was abit more shaded. Anyhow i put my hand and turned the rock round and took a pic then picked up the rock got another pic and then touched it and got another pic so you guys have some more angles. Unfortunatley no matter what i do i cant upload them here so im going to have to link you to them again, if anybody could add them to thw thread id really appreciate it. Theres 3 new pics.http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o75/xoxkaykxox/Mobile Uploads/20140805_205654.jpg

I dont think that is a rbta,I have had small ones and they only had 4 or 5 white lines around the mouth.I am not sure what kind it is.

I agree, i don't know that I believe its a bubbletip either. I think it may be something different.

I agree. Something looks a little off to be a BTA. With BTA's, aren't the "bubbles" a little farther down from the tips? That one looks to have bulbs right on the tips. No?

I have to agree, after looking at it on my computer it doesn't look characteristic of a BTA. Does anyone else think it's a Club Tipped Anemone (Telmatactis spp.)?

If it loses the bubbles at the end of the tips after it acclimates to your tank it isn't a Club Tipped Anemone, but it could be Stomphia coccinea or the original diagnosis which was a Beadlet Anemone (Actinia equina)

Thanks guys, i googled imaged the club tipped anemone and a few of the photos do look very much like the anemone i have. I cant find much info on them though?

It definitely isn't a Beadlet anemone. They have sky blue knobs underneath the tentacles. And the foot should have a thin blue line edging the foot. I have kept several in my coldwater tanks.

So i accidently brushed the back of my hand past it...OH MY GOD..OWWWW...lots of swearing. It hurt, bad! My hand was all blistered the next day and now it has yucky scabbed holes and is red and so so itchy. Nasty anemone!!
