I got it in a frag pack a while back. It was supposed to be garf's purple bonsai. Iwas just checking to see if that's what it was,or for that matter, what ever it is.
I will see if I have a pic of the original frag. It was about 1/4 of an inch.

Whatever it is, it's purdy. I have something similar to it that I recently picked up but I don't remember what it is. Mine is brown right now, but starting to color up.

I would say garf purple bonsai as well.... Also could be A. Horrida, only time will tell.....

Things are great, not quite the 75 gallon sps tank I had, but here is my little nano instead.... This little tank is all I really have time for right now... I think you have something different than skinnyjoe1976, his looks more like A. Horrida or maybe Chips Acro... You have the Garf, in my opinion... Just a thought, could also be A. Lokani with killer PE.... Kinda has a smooth textue to the corallites, that resembles the deepwater acro.... just another thought...lol...

I have both the GARF bonsai and this coral, it's definitely not the bonsai. The bonsai has thiner branches and a little different coloring. I'll post a picture of both when I get home...

Hopefully someone can ID it, because I've been wanting to know for a while now too!

I am leaning towards A. Lokani.... It does appear to be a deepwater acro, due to the smoothness....

It kinda looks like my bonsai when I first got it. It just looks a little washed out...maybe from high lighting. Mine was real dark purple when I got it.
