I have picked 30 of these suckers off and 4 egg sacks. They hit all at once. I noticed a few days ago that my polyps were not opening in certain spots, then when I looked close I noticed them. Talk about hard to see. These suckers can make themselves look EXACTLY like the polyp stalks. I have gotten very good at seeing thses suckers.
The picture a bit fuzzy but it looks to be in the genus Armina or Dermatobranchus. These guys are very specialized feeders; most species will eat only 1 type of sea pen or other cnidarian. Get rid of them.
