Can anyone tell me what this is?

Hi, I have something only growing on my substrate that I'm not sure what it is. Is is kind of sticking in that if I scrape the area the substrate sticks together. My system is one year old this month and I haven't had this before.
Salinity 1.026, ph 8.1, no3 2 phosphate 35 ppb, alk 9.1, cal 420, mag 1350

Looks like cyano bacteria to me.

I was thinging that but when I had it while I was going through the cycle it seemed similar but different. Thanks

Yeah, I have had some before on the sand and when I vac it out some of the substrate sticks to it similar to what you describe.

shut your lights off for 3 days. that should take care of the cyano
