I doubt it....the tube anemone would probably never come out of it's tube....

Never The anemone does the hosting, and not the clowns. With that said, I highly doubt that a Clarkii would be hosted by a tube anemone.

I would doubt it. Tube "anemones" are not true anemones - i.e. they belong to a different subclass than the actinaria. Clown anemones are more closely related to SPS corals and Zoanthids than they are to Cerianthids

Your best bet is a BTA. Lowest light and easiest care requirements of any clown anemone. Plus you can often get clones for very reasonable prices.

If you are worried about lighting, I'll bet you could keep a BTA under an LED spotlight that would be under 30 watts...

The other day at my LFS I met a fellow reefer that had a gorgous red and white rock anemone with a clarki clown all over it.. Stunning!!!!:hmm5:

You may want to just slow down a bit and do a search on RC for the different types of anemone's youre interested in. Then read, read some more and then if after all that research you still have questions post away. Not trying to be rude or harsh but a lot of the questions you have asked lately could have been answered with a simple search.

Last time I saw a tube anemone and a clownfish together, the anemone was snacking on the clownfish.
