Can clown fish be with a seahorse?

I have a 14 gallon bio cube, around 15 pounds of live rock, no sand bed, no corals, 2 clown fish, 1 cleaner shirmp. I was wondering if i could add just 1 sea horse into it. And if it'll eat the same flakes that the clownfish and shrimp eat.

Unfortunately... no. First of all, seahorses don't eat flake food. Secondly, clownfish are not recommended tankmates for seahorses - especially a pair of clowns. Sorry.

This is true... seahorses eat frozen mysis, HOPEFULLY, or live foods. The clowns would gobble up everything before a seahorse even had a chance to notice it ;-)

No that is too small for seahorses plus like everyone else said clowns would be so quick at getting food. Plus clowns can be pretty aggressive.

AS mentioned above i would highly not recomend it! Not only will the clown and the horse compete for food, and quite frankly the clown would rule over the horse. But clowns are agressive and horses are very finicky and dont like confrontation(atleast none of mine do). And horses stress very quickly and will deteriate fast if their not happy. So if the clown tries to attack the horse the horse will likley hide in a corner and never eat again... Also the bioload in a 14 gallon is just too heavy for a horse and a clown fish.

If you want to try a seahorse set-up thats cheap you can set-up a new tank (5-10 gallons) and add lots of macro or some kind of twiggy plant for them to hitch onto. Then you can get some dwarf seahorses online (i recomend ccriters.com only place i buy mine!). And give them a shot. They are cheap and you can learn alot before you jump into a $100 horse... But remember alot of wild horses wont eat frozen food only live, so these guys are a good start, because they only eat baby brine shrimp (i have had some on frozen foods, but they just didnt last as long...). So this is a good learning curve when your ready. And they breed like guppies so they are very fun to watch the life cycle happen!!

Most important read up before you make any moves!! Good luck!!
