Can Cucumbers Climb Glass?

Cod Fish

I got a sand sifting cucumber for my refugium that has a gravity drain. I was wondering if there was any chance the cucumber could climb the glass and some how clog the drain.

Shoot, any other suggestions for a 3 gallon refugium?

Yes, they can definitely climb. Here pics of my Holothuria floridana on the glass. And a short video.

Yes. Mine climbs to the top of the glass all the time. He has hung out by the overflow comb for awhile too. Put some netting around anything they can stuck in.
