can eels get ich?

I work a detail as a cop at a local hospital, and they have a large display tank in the lobby. I work there once a week and every time i go in there they seem to have different fish. However for the last couple months they have snowflake eel and what looks similar to a singapore angel. I came in tonight and saw they added a red sea regal. The regal and the other angel are absolutely covered in ich. Question is what is the treatment for a tank with an eel? I met the guy who maintains the tank and is the owner of a lfs. Unfortunately the tank is a cylinder tank and runs floor to ceiling, would be a pain getting those out. Hopefully he will do the right thing and try and treat the tank in some way, rather then letting them die.

"STOP PARASITE "works good for that type of situation .i have had 20 to 30 eels and never not one has ever gotten ick ,so dont be worried about that situation .to treat the whole tank sound like the right thing to do but ick is every where so it may be stress induced and it can be cured but for how long would be the question .i have a copperband that always has some small infestation of ick but its kept in check and never gets to bad,so theres a give and take with it also. hope they do the right thing !

I am currently treating my display tank, which houses a zebra moray eel, for ICK using hyposalinity. The eel hides most of the time in the underground PVC, however he still looks healthy and still eats like a pig.
