can fish have Diarrhea

all my fish are ok - except one it looks like hes got diarrhea - he looks really skinny around his stomach and passing a white substance..........can anyone help????????

Is it long and stringy white stuff? If so it is probably an internal parasite.

can the parasite be treated ?? and can it effect my other fish ??

I would check around for the forum for parasite treatments.

Can any mods help with this?

Not a fish doctor here but my hippo tang who was not eating eventually had that stringy thing down his arse that looked like mucus, he died a few days later.
