I currently have one female tomato clown. I have recently added a nem to the tank. The clown is VERY territorial and aggressive towards anything that gets to close to it's nem. My question is: Would the female clown pair up with a new small clown? or would she chase him away??
Tomato's are brutal. All you can do is try, but make sure the new one is much smaller, and be prepared to pull him. You might try putting the newbie in a species container in the tank to let the female get used to him.
Thats a good idea criccio. What sort of container could I use?? Any clear container with small holes in it? I assume that I would place this container dirrectly next to the nem? Thanks for the info!!!
