I have a 6 line wrasse in my aquarium that i'd like to take out.I know netting her is not going to work so I'm going to use Anthony's awesome idea.

So I was hoping someone has a six line I can use as "bait" i'll be very careful w/ your wrasse and give you your wrasse back and a frag or two for helping out.

I may not even need to acclimate the "bait" wrasse to my tank water.I'll probably just keep it in a plastic bang and put that in the trap.

If I remember correctly when Anthony did this his "bad" fish went right in the trap in less that 5 min.

I know this is kind of strange and I may be reaching.

I might just go up to YR and buy one.

Thanks

What are you giong to do with your 6 line once you catch it? Why are you removing it? I'm interested in taking it off your hands if you're looking to get rid of it.

C4S-I tried food .Every fish other than the wrasse goes in it.

delusions-I'm taking her out cuz recently have acquired a addiction to fairy wrasses and the 6L is not nice to newcomer's .I'm giving the wrasse to the dude that's letting me borrow his trap.

delsol-It seems like six line wrasses are very common and cheep.

I ended up borrowing a fish trap from a friend right up the street from me.

It's one of those really big ones.

Alan (sacfishguy) is going to let me barrow his 6L and I'll post some pics and info of how it goes.

Thanks

Thank you Alan for letting me borrow your 6L.

I put your fish in a clear plastic container and placed it in the fish trap in less than 5 min my "bad" fish was in the trap I took my bad one up to Your Reef and put yours in my fuge.

I'll bring it back to you this Sat.

Thanks!

I knew that sooner or later I'd need to take her out and luckily I knew about Anthony's little wrasse in the trap trick and it worked like a charm!
