Can I convince them to?

I have a question to pose. I have a shallow cube aquarium, and a large center overflow, takes up a lot of room, and it basically divides the tank, its great for hiding my Tunze on either side, but also because of my other agressive fish has push my clowns into a corner. I have high flow in this aquairum two Tunze 6060's in a 70g 30X30X17. I have a 5 inches size RBTA, that has been in the tank for approximately 3 months. I have a bonded Ocelaris pair and for a long time they never ventured out past their corner of the tank. Sadly, my RBTA is very content way up in front of the tank right under my Orang Monti Cap. I guess he likes some shade.

Ok so because I felt bad the clowns had no home, and the Flagfin, and Clown Tang seem to be the big bullys of the tank, I gave the clowns a clay pot for a home.

Now I am thinking of removing the pot, and trying to get them to enjoy the RBTA. Is this feasable, if so without causing them too much distress, what can I do to get them to move out? or err. Move to the RBTA?

Any ideas of suggestions welcomed!

You can tape a picture of clownfish hosting bta outside your tank where they can see it. Monkey see monkey do. It took 3 weeks for mine to host.

I would suggest very slowly (like over a few weeks time) move the pot they are hosting in closer and closer to the RBTA until they are right below or along side it - then nature might have a better shot of taking over from there.

Yes it does work. I have been trying to get my percular clowns to host rbta for 3 months with no luck until a fellow reefer CHE told me to tape the picture on the glass. It's worth a try, wut do you have to loose? Good luck
