Can I cut the cable?

I need to pass the cable through the small hole on the top of the bracing (mine has euro bracing, and a small hole on it, 1").

The cable I mentioned is for the one between the pump main body and control box (aluminium box, I have 6100)

I have a 6000 at home and had the same problem. If you open the blue driver box, their is a cable disconnect inside. The disconnect should fit through the 1" hole no problem.

As ramorse said. Don't cut the cable, there are 5 very small gauge wires inside and it is very difficult to get a good reconnect.
