Can I do this?

I am about to purchse a 200g tank. I want to put a wave box in but I don't want it to "show" in the tank. One idea I had was to drill a hole in the side of the tank and build a glass box that is the same sizee as a wave box. Then purchase the "inards" of the wave box to put in the "glass" box. This sound strange? Any other suggestions? The people at Tunze do you sell or would you sell just the "inards" of the Wave box?

You can buy just the pump and controller but it costs the same amount. I don't really see the point, you have lost the same amount of space either way and it is far easier to service if it is removable.

I think your missing the point. I will save the space becaus the "box" will be on the outside of the tank.

You do bring a good point up about servicing it.
