Can I fix this?

Crack in the glass. This is in the overflow of my 90. Getting mixed opinions. There's that windshield filler stuff you can buy for your car, would that work or does it need to even be worried about? I have pictures. It's not very big and it's only on the surface. It is a glass tank and the bottom is very thick.

Just wondering if anyone has any remedies

first i will state how big is the tank and how expensive is it. Is the tank even worth saying. if it is i will ask how high is the crack.
but i would super glue it on both sides and call it a day. you can test it later to make sure it doesnt leak, but worse case if small leak when the tank is off it might drain to that spot. just make sure your sump can hold it.

No. You're talking about something where it's structural stability is compromised. Then putting HUNDREDS of pounds of water (what is that like 800 lbs?) pressing against that crack. Crack on a windshield is way different. Still, I wouldn't fill the crack on my windshield, then tape 800 pounds worth of weight to it, and expect it to last. I wouldn't even test it.

If it gives way, a huge amount pressure is going to push against the overflow lines. To me $500 for a new tank is a lot less than thousands for water damage repair.

The overflow isn't part of the structure of the tank. First there is water on both sides. So there is no pressure on it. Not the same as having a crack on the front or side panel
