Can I get a Mandarin!?!?

I started reefing back in September with a 20 gallon tank, I just upgraded to a 40 gallon. I have 60+ pounds of live rock and around 50 shells lining the back of my tank. I have an AC70 HOB filter that I modded into a fuge with Chaeto in it. My question is: Would it be safe to get a Mandarin sometime in the future with that set up? I was thinking June or July-ish? Longer? Even at all? Would I be able to tell that I have a plethora of pods that would suffice?

I would say wait as long as you can, plus don't put any other pod eaters into the tank so they can flourish. I have had one in my 40g long for 5-6 years now and he eats frozen mysis now so it is not as troublesome to feed him. He still swims around the tank though eating pods. It can be done in your system just give it time to mature a little longer.
