I have no idea if it's an anemone or a coral. It just showed up one day. The tank is two years old. Thanks for any help and any direction.

Hard to tell what it is. Could be an encrusting sponge but it's very hard to tell from the pictures. Can you zoom in on it?

Also as an FYI, there is an edit button in each of your posts. You can click that for up to an hour it's available for you to edit your post. Also you can insert up to 5 pictures in a post. One other thing is for cell phone pictures to be properly orientated on a PC you have to turn the top of your phone to the left. This will give PC pictures the correct top up orientation. Same with taking video you need to have the top to the left so the video doesn't come out skinny and tall. This is what's Called Vertical Video Syndrome aka VVS :D But there is a cure for VVS :lmao:

ahh too late for me to edit it now. Sorry about that. I tried to zoom in on it and it is too blurry. That's the best I can take for now. I'll try and get a better one later. I have no clue what it is. It almost has a jelly like body from what I can see. It's almost anemone like, that's why I put it here, but I can't find any anemone online that looks like it. I'm perplexed lol hahaha thanks for the tips on VVS

Brilliant! This could definitely be what it is. From the pictures I've seen Googling that it's pretty close from what I can tell.
