I'm gonna say no. You are already overstocked as is. Too many fish in a short period of time also. I'd pull the tangs as both will quickly outgrow your tank. Your clowns are gonna use half your space and the domino damsel gets really aggressive. Your snowflake might start picking off some of your inverts. Other than your fish choices I think your tank looks great. I just don't think it'll last in the long run. Also you might want to do some research on garlic and fish. I used to use it too, but it sounds like it may do more damage than us reefers believed in the past.

Ok thank you ;)! I was thinking definately no more fish. For the tangs i have agreement with lfs when they get to large i can sell back to him for smaller versions again. He has large 300-500 gallons he uses for larger fish sales ect.

Hi, great tank but like cubsFAN said i wouldn't add another fish. How long have you had the cleaner wrasse? Because it won't live long in your tank. It wil starve to death. They need at least 10 large fish to clean a day to survive. I would give it back to your LFS.

Other than this awesome tank :)

Hippo tang & Sailfin tang needs to be in larger and longer tanks. Both do best in tanks of at least 180 gallons or more due to their swimming nature.

Ditch the HOB filter. You're already running a skimmer.

The hob filter is a house for pods

The carbon filters slow the water so slow that it acts as a hob refugium. The pods can reproduce in there without being eaten by the fish. When i pull the filter up u can see abunch of amphipods flicking off jumpin back in filter. Im going to get another one to increase production. My front / side glass is littered with them. This one is about the size of a pencil eraser

Now I want to know.. Ok. Off to research.

+1 I know many folks on this forum who have taken garlic off the menu. There is no real evidence that it does anything positive and there are several science-backed findings of long-term problems. It may help appetite a little. When I used to make my own food, I added some Ctclops-eeze, this stuff worked better as an appetite stimulant that garlic ever did for me.

I dont use much but the fish love it. The entire cleanup crew and everything comes out as soon as it hits the water. U can see every crab and snail coming from every crack and crevice to the smell of garlic like its a hit of cocaine

Cheeseburgers, cigarettes, and beer are bad for us to lol. Thanks for the advice though i have looked into it. My lfs has been in business 20 years hes run all others out of the town and he has always fed whats called ( daves crack ). Its a garlic mixture he used and has never had a problem with

Just because somebody's been doing something for twenty years doesn't make it the right thing. Think lead based paint.

Exactly the reason i said thank you for the information and made the comparison to choices people make because of taste or ease. Drugs/alcohol/excess food. Everyone likes something a little extra and my fish like it to apparently so i dont mind giving it to them even if it is worse than double chocolate cake. Not everyone drives the speed limit and wears a seatbelt
