my clown fish fry are 9 days old .i have 10 or12 still alive and well but i have a new batch of eggs to go inthe tank will the fry eat the eggs or the new fry? or should i just let them hatch out in my DT

The fry won't eat the eggs. However, having fry at different stages of feeding will be somewhat problematic for rearing.

I agree with Bill. The eggs are far too large for the larvae to eat and if you are going to try raising two batches together just remember that the younger larvae will need rotifers and the larger larvae will have become very good at hunting rotifers. You'll probably have to up the concentration of rotifers.

I'd also recommend keeping batches seperate. It takes one tiny mistake to lose prolarvae, and foul the rest. Plus any unhatched eggs from the first batch could develop fungus and spread to your newer batch.

thanks guys. I think I will just let this batch of eggs go to the DT since Idont have room for another fry tank how long before i can move the juv, to another tank ? I have a 20g set up for qt but there a angel in there now.
