can I mount the 6100 to my overflow?

my question is above. I purchased my tunze 6100 with controller and magnet holder. my plan was to place about 1/2 way down the overflow with the magnet. I do not really like power heads and want to hide this as best as possible

You could do that, just keep in mind every 3 months the pump has to come out for cleaning, I can't over emphasize this. The pump must have regular maintenance and don't place it so it is impossible to access.
