Can I run any tunze pump on the slave side of 6091 controller and increase the wave?

I have a mini wave box and was wondering if any other pump will work on the slave side? It would make more sense to me to use an older single output pump than one of the newer variable velocity pumps for the price. I have a 90 gallon and i get a very small wave due to the output of my main circulation pump pushing so hard, so i would like to add another larger pump to the lower part of the tank to push back.

It needs to be one of the controllable pumps... 6055, 6000, 6100, 6101, 6105 etc...
