Can I run my EB8 at 24V DC?

Well you can power the pumps from the battery backup and then install the 110vac relays in between the ups and the pump controller with the 24vdc on the normally open contacts. Then wire the 110vac coil with a plug and then connect to the EB8. This way if you lose main power the pumps are powered off the UPS and you'll still have Apex control. Only thing you'll need to purchase is the EB8 and the relays

However you'll probably need 2 EB4 as the triacs in the EB8 don't do well with low current draw devices and don't always turn off

My EB8s should stay up during a power outage. I run a UPS to my Apex controller and that feeds power to their logic circuits. They wouldn't be consuming a lot of power to turn on and off.

I'm ok running UPS power to drive signals/relays. But I want the battery power to drive the actual pumps.

Russ, how about the old Neptune Socket Expansion Module?

Can I connect it to a 24VDC input and then plug the pumps DC lines?
