Can I still use this magnet?

Hey Roger,
The clips on the magnet that hold the Stream broke on one of my magnets.
Not a big deal to me, I just decided to switch it around and stick the other piece in the tank.
But when I took the magnet off part of the magnet (which has been outside the tank, came off.

Here is what came off, real smooth and clean too...no breaking.
It appears to be epoxy inside.
Can I still put this in my tank?

The center piece breaking is what caused me to have to turn it around.

Hey Sean!

That cover is only cosmetic, it is waterproofed by the polyurethane resin. You can just glue the cover back on.

Sorry to hijack the thread.
I had a very similiar problem with the one side of the magnet falling off.
Weird thing is, my magnets had some weird black grain stuff coming out of it? Magnet stuff?
Do you guys sell just one side of the magnet?

I threw it away since I was scared to put it back in the tank.
I tried to glue that piece back on but it would still seep through.
