Can I tee off of my Tunze Silence Recirculation Pump 1073.050?

I was wondering if I could tee off of my Tunze Silence Recirculation Pump 1073.050 and run a carbon and a GFO reactor?

I wanted to save space and pumps and try to use this pump but wasn't sure if it is up to the task to handle the work load.

The tank is 39 gallons with another 10g in the sump. One reactor is a TLF Phosban 150 and the other is a BRS reactor. The pump for the TLF doesn't have to be strong. The BRS reactor is a converted RO type canister with same kind of water in and water out and needs a stringer pump. They recommend a Maxi Jet 1200 but this doesn't work properly. Too much back pressure.

So the question is, can this Tunze handle two reactors plus do a proper job for circulation?

Thanks,
Ken

It is not ideal, what tends to happen in these split flow systems is one line plugs and flow reroutes to the other, the media compacts, the valves clog and the hosed grow algae and biofilm and it is constant battle to balance the flow. I think it could handle it, but the results will be frustrating and you are better off with 2 seperate pumps.
