Can I use clear vinyl tube for CO2?

I think clear ones are rated for lower psi than milky ones.

p.s. lights are good. just istalled it over the top of the tank ;-)

PSI rating is 68. Is it good enough? :D ..

Cool.. Is it bright enough?? :D .. take some pic man ..

I had been told that some of the lines are permeable to co2.. I'm not sure how that could be.. Most polyethylene lines are impervious... How about the silicone tubing? Instead of vinyl

Yeah but the co2 will cause it to break down quicker than silicone tubing. You can still get a good year out of it though.

Where can I get silicone tubing? I can't find it at OSH or HD. Any local store selling them? If anyone has some to sell, please let me know. I want to set up my Calcium reactor :) ..
Thanks

Most lfs will have it
It will say 100 percent sillicone tubing

It's normally that funny blue or black...

The best hose to use is the blue tubing meant for CO2. All the other tubes will fail eventually. MD caries it. I have extra if you are ever around here.

I use to get quite a few different co2 supplies from this guy.. Everything is top notch...The only better needle valves I've found are made by spartan scientific.. I think thats the name.. I'll have to go look at my stuff...

I used airline tubing. It turns kind of hard after a while...but it's cheap enough that you could change it every month if you really wanted to!
