can i use erythromycin on a bluging eye

i wont even get into it but yes its the dam blueline. I am hoping this is it with him .
ate out my hand yesterday. now wont eat and the eye I fixed with furan 2 a month ago is again starting to bluge alittle . I really cant take this fish much longer . the time and money I put into him for a fish still not eating right is not worth it . on top of getting him a 55 to stay in.

Erythromycin & Furan-2 are both antibiotic meds, so if the bulging eye is being caused by a persistent bacterial infection then erythromycin should help. However, if the bulging eye is due to injury or flukes than other treatments are needed.

My concern is it may be flukes. Hope I am wrong.

I have treated twice for that , and did fresh water dips and never saw any.
also he had the bad eye and I thought I fixed it with furan 2 .but it never looked 100% .
I see no signs like twitching or scratching .

I started the med I asked about because I have it on hand. the eye is worse today but he is eating .
