Can I use PraziPro in a Copper Tank?

I just found out a drop is not necessarily a drop. I was using a pipette to measure my drops unfortunately this pipette's drops were very small. I looked up the conversion of drops to cc and 20 drop equal 1 cc. For the pipette I was using to equal 1 cc would take 29 drops. So tomorrow when I administer the Formalin I will use 1 cc instead of 20 drops.

hottuna,

No _ i don't know what is in the De-Los, but based on the precautions (don't use on sharks or lionfish) that sounds very much like that listed for using Trichlorfon. I don't use that any longer because it is more toxic than other choices.

So has anyone used this prazipro in a reef tank. It says it will kill flatworm and other worms. I have a very large worm in my reef tank that I think has eaten two small clams. I would like to get rid of this worm. Of course using a chemical is always my last choice I ma just wondering if this is a choice for a reef tank. I know it will kill fan worms. I am going to try to trap this worm first.

thats it Jay !!! thanks...yes you are right -very toxic to certain fish-my powder blue dropped dead after 2 weeks of a 4 wk treatment...other fish ,however seem to be unaffected by it..
thats why -to be safe -stick with large angels treatment = cupramine + prazipro...that should cover most of the parasitic bases...

Prazipro is some great stuff. I had flukes on my anthais and I added 2 mls of this stuff to about 11 gallons of water and they fell off in a few minutes. I am supposed to do about 3.5 ml's, but wanted to start off slowly to see how it affected the fish. I will add a little more. The fish started to shake and I got nervous, but it was shaking the flukes off. It really was great.
