Can I use prazipro to treat a mixed reef display tank?

I am finishing up my QT of some chromis fish and getting ready to move them from my QT to display. They were treated with Cupramine and then prazipro. I realized that my display reef tank has never been treated for flukes. What is everyone's take on treating a mixed reef DT with prazipro? The display has LPS, softie, and SPS corals. The bottle of hikari prazipro says it is reef-safe except for worms such as feather dusters which I do not have. I actually have WAY too many of those tiny, calcareous little tube worms. I would not mind eliminating them.

Anyone have experience with trying this? Any loss of corals at all?

it might make your skimmer act up but i used it a few times in my reef and nothing died, my bta did hide for a day or 2 but he does that sometimes

Many reefers have used it in their main with little to no loss. You may lose micro fauna which could cause an ammonia spike. IME Prazi will tick off Xenia but not to the point of killing it...unfortunately.

You may loose your worms: bristle worms, feather dusters, ...
On the good side it may also rid your tank of pests like AEFW, planaria and the like.

The directions say turn off the skimmer during the treatment., otherwise medication is made non-effective...skimmed-out.

I did go along with this treatment for my display tank. The only thing that seems really affected negatively is my yellow Fiji toadstool coral... I believe it will survive just fine.

I used several rounds of Prazi in my reef tank. It seemed to upset some things but not kill anything. However right after my long term Prazi I started having stability issues and algae breakouts. I think it killed a lot of my bacteria. But my fish really needed it. I should say I didn't have a ton of coral.

Anyone use more than one round of Prazi in reef tank?

I used 2 rounds. No immediate problems after that other than the death of my 2 emerald crabs. I am rather sure it was the Prazi. I am having some difficulty with my SPS corals. My phosphates went a bit too high; however, this was because I added 3 new fish to my 75 gallon display tank and switched to feeding twice a day and neglected doing regular water changes... what else should I expect? I will switch to feeding only once per day and keep up with my regular water changes.

I have been seeing some tissue loss with my montipora corals. It is obviously the aftermath of my use of 2 rounds of this medicine. My phosphates tested at 1.0 ppm. This was never the case before for the past 2 years. My phosphates always tested as barely detectable prior. I am concerned that praxipro may have can damaged my biological filter. Of course, it has not been fully destroyed; otherwise, my tank would have crashed... so the lesson is to use praxipro with caution. I plan to do a 15 gallon water change tomorrow.

I began dosing my DT today with Prazipro because my SB Anthias seems to have internal parasites (and I can't catch him). Will this medication have any effect on my refugium. Any thoughts would be appreciated
