also - If the leather is large, you may run into issues of warfare with the sps. Leather corals can emit a toxin which either inhibits growth or can damage/kill some sps. In some instances, you can avoid this by running carbon or by having the flow from the leather go away from the sps, but I guess that may be tough in a smaller tank.
I had to get rid of a large toadstoool even in a 180 due to this.
