Can Mardel Saltwater Maracyn can kill Marine Velvet (hurt corals?)

I read in a thread found in the Marine Disease treatment forum, that Mardel Saltwater Maracyn can kill Marine Velvet and to avoid taking the fish out of the tank. This will add stress to the fish.

Should I buy this med to help cure my baby blue tang of this possible disease that it has. It is very faint on him, but nonetheless, something is there on his body.

I have corals in my tank and some inverts like a starfish, snails, and hermits. I have Xenias, Mushrooms, Torch, Kenya trees, and some others. Will they be negatively affected by this med?

What to do?

Here is the link to the medicine (should I buy tomorrow morning?):

I think I have asked this question:

But what about Formalin (now that I am leaning towards my fish's disease being Marine Velvet)?

The Maracyn and Maracyn II are antibiotics with vitamin B complex vitamins added. The only use for treating parasites is in conjunction with hypo or copper and help repair any wounds caused by the parasite.
I hope you always treat in a quarantine/hospital tank, never in the show tank.
