Can monti attach to glass?

I am wondering this as I know the softies like leathers and such adhere to glass however with a encruster would that be possible if anyone knows?

Thought it would be interesting if it did to have monti cap growing in corners and such but Im thinking since they have to encrust something to attach would that be invasive enough to break glass?

I wonder how you get it to stay anywhere. I have some purple tip acro in my tank that is doing very well so I thought I would try some monti as Aqua Pets had a very large piece in the shop which had several broken pieces that they were selling. I bought four small pieces and tried to place them in my tank but they did not want to seem to stay anywhere and if you tried to push enough that they may stay in a hole or crack they would shatter.

Blackcow superglue them to a piece of rock dry both off really well attach let sit for a few minutes then place them in your sump or a low flow area for a few hours then they sould stay attached I have done all mine this way and it works great

Cool thanks for the info.

Jesse I think you are obsessed with purple montis.

Thanks Jesse. How delicate are they? I can see watching one grow for several months into a beautiful animal and then bumping it while cleaning the tank glass and watching it shatter all over the floor of the tank.
